Marjorie is a member of the Financial Services practice in Heidrick & Struggles’ Executive Search and Leadership Consulting Group. She assesses and coaches senior-level executives to broaden clients’ efforts in executive search, leadership development, talent management, succession planning and executive on-boarding. Marjorie has 15 years experience in leadership organization, sales and brand management.
Marjorie joined Heidrick&Struggles in early 2010. She started her career in advertising sales for Hearst Magazines - (Town&Country and SmartMoney Magazines) in San Francisco.
Marjorie earned her MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in 2009. She was on the Admissions Committee and was responsible for recruiting and interviewing the prospective candidates. Prior to business school, Marjorie graduated with a BA in English from the University of Virginia in 2001.
Marjorie has been involved in numerous non-profit organizations such as the Thomas Jefferson Foundation at Monticello. Currently, Marjorie serves on the BOD for Fit4Kids, a non-profit dedicated to improving children’s health, serves on the regional interview team for the Jefferson Scholars Board in Richmond, is part of the Shadwell Society (younger BOD of Jefferson Scholars), acts as a Darden class agent for the annual fund and sits on the planning committee for Noah’s Children 41 Gala, a non profit with a pediatric palliative care mission.
Additionally, Marjorie is a alumnae of 3 Peaks 3 Weeks, a international team of 12 women that climbed 3 African peaks in 2012 promoting awareness and sponsorship of how women’s empowerment can help to solve 3 peak issues in East Africa: education, health and environment.
